While Joel had made many streams of Sims games before, Meme House is the first time Joel stays with a single save for multiple streams, developing its wacky cast of characters over time. The first stream in the series proper was made on July 31st, 2019, with an earlier Sims 4 stream occurring in 2015 regarded as the series pilot. Like Vinny's Vinesauce Tomodachi Life streams, Meme House has taken a life of its own. Meme House is a subseries of Vinesauce, featuring Joel playing a heavily modded version of The Sims 4, as he creates a cast of bizarre Sims and sees their weird, hilarious, or crazy hijinks.
